How will this affect me?

Starting from 13 July 2024, Unisa will be upgrading all students’ myLife e-mail accounts. You may experience a three-hour once-off downtime while your myLife e-mail account is being upgraded.

From 16 July 2024, you will have to create a new password for myUnisa and your myLife e-mail account whenever you use the "Forgotten Unisa password" function.

What should I do?

Update your myUnisa/myLife password regularly!

You can do this via the Microsoft Online Password Reset link, which forms part of our Multi-Factor Authentication. This significantly reduces the risk of unauthorised access to myUnisa/myLife, even if your password has been compromised. Click here for more information on securing your access to Unisa's digital services.
