Unisa will be introducing a two-step password verification process to ensure that students are properly educated on how best to protect their information

One of the best ways to keep your data secure is password management.

Unisa will soon be rolling out a two-step password verification process to students to ensure that all Unisa students are properly educated on how best to protect their information. It is a simple process that will help safeguard your access to data and applications.

You may not realise it, but you’ve probably already been using a two-step password verification process for years. Common examples include the One Time Pin (OTP) you receive when completing transactions via online banking or when making online purchases via your credit card.

The two-step password verification process was successfully rolled out to Unisa staff and some Unisa students in 2018. We plan to roll it out to all Unisa students within the next few weeks.
