Unisa registration update

All first-time students and re-registering Unisa students must register online. No self-help registrations or other assisted registrations can currently be completed at Unisa regional offices, including the Sunnyside and Science Campuses: www.unisa.ac.za/register

Unisa opened registrations for the 2019 academic year on 3 January 2019. Since the start of registrations, Unisa has registered 127 687 students (complete and temporary registrations).

Some student bodies commenced with protest action on 7 January 2019, which has impacted on the operations of the university. While the university acknowledges the right of individuals to strike, the university is open to assisting students the best way it can, including continued engagements.

Unisa's online registration process is quick, simple and accurate. When registering online, you’ll be prompted when information is missing or incorrect, helping you to ensure that you include all the necessary information when submitting your registration form. You'll also avoid having to find parking and the potentially long queues at Unisa regional offices.

If you require assistance with your online registration, please contact a Unisa regional office or the Unisa centralised toll-free number: 0800 001 870
