As you might know, the Western Cape is expecting severe storms, and many schools and universities will be closed on Wednesday 7 June 2017. Please note, however, that Unisa's examinations will proceed as per the timetable, local weather permitting.
We request that if you are scheduled to write an examination on Wednesday, you make every effort to get to your examination venue, without putting yourself at risk. If you are unable to reach your examination venue due to the extreme weather conditions, you may apply for a deferred examination by submitting the Application form for aegrotat and/or special examinations to exams@unisa.ac.za.
Should you apply for the deferred examination due to the adverse weather conditions, this will be granted at no cost to you.
