Unisa Library services during the nationwide lockdown

Online Library access: Clients are strongly advised to access the Library through myUnisa, the website and the Library app.

Book renewals: Books should be renewed online through the Library website.

Printed book requests: The Library will NOT be able to respond to printed book requests due to staff unavailability during the COVID-19 national lockdown. 

Telephone enquiries on book requests / fines will NOT be attended to due to the COVID-19 national lockdown.

Payments of Library fines incurred before the national lockdown will not be waived:

  • Cash deposit made at the bank may take up to 24 hours to reflect if correctly allocated.
  • EFT payments may take a minimum of 72 hours depending on bank to bank agreements.
