Unisa will offer a new BEd qualification from 2019 (pending SAQA ID) for new students only.
All currently registered BEd students must continue with their existing qualification in 2019. Unisa's current BEd qualifications (qualification codes: 02593, 02607 or 02615) will be phased out by the end of 2024. Transitional arrangements will be phased in from 2020 and students will be informed towards the end of 2019 of this process.
We urge you to continue to work tirelessly to complete your BEd qualification as soon as possible.
