All registered Unisa students will receive a paper student card as part of their first study pack for the academic year. Your student card confirms that you are a Unisa student and (accompanied by your ID or passport) grants you access to Unisa examinations, and so on. If you lose your student card, you can request another one by sending an e-mail to despatch@unisa.ac.za.
A Unisa access card is NOT compulsory. You only need a Unisa access card if you want to access the Unisa Library.
Should you wish to obtain or activate a Unisa access card, the Smart Card Division on the Science Campus will be open from 08:00 to 13:00 on Saturday 9 March 2019 and Saturday 16 March 2019 to assist you.
