Scam alert: Fake application letter purporting to come from Unisa

Unisa calls on its prospective students and other stakeholders to be aware of a fake poster doing the rounds on social media trying to recruit or lure unsuspecting victims into a qualification enrolment scam. Unisa is on record that the poster doing the rounds does not come from the university. It is FAKE news.

Students and other university stakeholders are encouraged to communicate with the university at 0800 001 870 or enquire@unisa.ac.za  

We request that students only use official Unisa sites and platforms as any other platforms will provide you with incorrect information and/or act illegally which will be harmful to your studies. 

Unisa will always use official communication channels (eg Unisa website, myUnisa, Unisa social media platforms, myLife e-mail) to communicate with students. Unisa does not use Whatsapp as a channel to communicate with our students. Please use the following Unisa platforms for official Unisa information:
