The Council of Legal Education in Kenya has determined by Resolution to recognise Unisa's law qualifications.
While Unisa's law qualifications are subjected to the statutory requirement of recognition and approval of qualifications in Law obtained outside Kenya under the provisions of Section 8 of the Legal Education Act, the Council of Legal Education in Kenya has confirmed that this process happens to ALL qualifications and is not exclusive to a qualification obtained from Unisa. Furthermore, it does not discriminate on the basis of whether or not the qualification was obtained via open distance learning.
