First-time research master’s and doctoral students will be allowed to register for the 2023 academic year with a payment of R5 225 only. Students based in South Africa are advised to make use of one of the following payment methods: EFT or payment at a First National Bank branch. The current online credit card platform will not allow students to pay less than the minimum amount required as indicated on the temporary registration letter. International students must please make use of SWIFT/EFT to make payment. Students will be registered manually and accounts will be rectified later in the year by Unisa's Department of Finance. Registrations close on 30 April 2023 (some exceptions apply).
Returning research master’s and doctoral students will be able to register with a minimum payment of R5 225. The full amount as indicated on the temporary registration letter must be paid in full by 15 August 2023. Students based in South Africa are advised to make use of one of the following payment methods: EFT or payment or at a First National Bank branch.
