May/June 2022 examinations issues raised by the NSRC

The Institution is currently conducting the May/June 2022 examination. As previously communicated by the Registrar, students were advised to follow the step by step guide which addresses protocols for admission to a supplementary examination.

The following matter was raised by the NSRC to which the Portfolio of Teaching, Learning, Community Engagement and Student Support responds as follows:

Admission to a supplementary opportunity for 2021 students:

• Only students that had admission to the January/February 2022 examination as a first opportunity, are considered for a 2nd supplementary opportunity in the May/June 2022 examination.
• Students that had admission to the January/February 2022 examination as their 2nd opportunity, will not have admission to the May/June 2022 examination for an additional and 3rd opportunity.
• FI students are identified for second opportunities only, not for a third opportunity.

We hope the above clarifies the matter on the supplementary examinations.
