The University of South Africa (Unisa) has become aware of advertisements placed by persons and organisations offering to provide portfolios or/and assignments to Unisa students. In some instances, examination question papers and solutions are offered for sale to students.
Unisa strongly cautions students not to use such services or purchase purported examination question papers. Should work submitted by a student found to be copied from another source or containing plagiarism, the consequences are severe. Moreover, in many instances the examination question papers offered for sale are not the current versions.
Students are requested to alert Unisa should they come across such advertisements – irregular activities of this nature have the potential to impact on the institution’s good name.
