Early Completion Programme (ECP) for final semester (FI) students

Unisa has approved a special once-off programme for the 2021 academic year, whereby students who can potentially complete up to 5 semester modules will be identified and allowed to complete their last modules at the end of the first semester.

• All students who have 5 or less semester modules to complete their qualifications, and who have registered for all the outstanding modules in semester 1, will be identified and contacted once the 2021 registrations have been finalised.
• Colleges will provide a special programme of tuition and formative assessment to provide these students with an opportunity to complete their academic programme by 15 June 2021.
• A special final summative opportunity will be conducted for qualifying students during June/July 2021. All relevant examination rules and requirements will apply.
• Due to the laboratory and professional requirements of certain programmes, practical modules as identified by the various colleges, are excluded from the early exit programme.
• As soon as the students have been identified, Unisa will communicate the relevant rules and criteria to such students.
