2020 SRC election date announced

In accordance with the Council-approved Electoral Policy for a Student Representative Council, the Dean of Students announces the date and the commencement of the SRC election processes, in consultation with the SRC President.

We hereby announce that the Unisa 2020 SRC election will commence on Monday 14 December 2020. An Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) and Independent Electoral Tribunal have been appointed to oversee the election. Further details will be announced in due course.

We wish to encourage all students to participate fully in the SRC election to ensure the successful appointment of a new SRC whose legitimacy is beyond reproach.
