As registrations opened on 2 January, the Finance department has been working in collaboration with ICT, the Regional Centres and FNB to ensure readiness of the payment portals for the 2020 registration period.
Despite this, it was discovered upon testing that some students have not been able to make payments at the regions using their debit cards as the speed points are not yet connected except for Sunnyside, Florida and Durban. The Unisa Technical Team is attending to the matter.
Students are urged to make use of the online payment system (Unisa web credit card payments) into “Unisa Student Deposit Account” until such time that the speed point integration has been finalised. The account is already listed as an approved public organization.
Alternatively, students may make payments from an FNB ATM using “Unisa Student Deposit Account” which is already listed as an approved public organisation. This will reflect the next day.
