Dr Mary Acanit (PhD) is a post-doctoral fellow in the School of Interdisciplinary Research and Graduate Studies (SIRGS) under the mentorship of Professor Ngulube. She holds a PhD in information Science with more than 13 years experience in an academic library setting. She has been actively engaged in various library automation and digitization initiatives and her research interests are in human information behaviour, information use, digital libraries, library systems/automation, research advocacy and support, information retrieval and dissemination, information literacy, open science, and research methods.
