Prof Hlengiwe Romualda Mhlongo is an associate professor and lecturer in the department of Curriculum and Instructional Studies. She holds a PhD in Curriculum and Instructional Studies from the University of Zululand. Her field of interest is in Curriculum Studies and Language Education, she has attended conferences and presented papers locally and intentionally. She also supervises Masters and PhD post-graduate students in the field of Curriculum Studies and Language education. She has supervised to completion 6 PhDs and 13 Masters students. She has published 12 articles in accredited journals with more focus on reading and writing literacies and climate change education.
