Dr Severino Machingambi holds a PhD in Education from the University of Venda. He also holds an MEd degree in Sociology of Education with the University of Zimbabwe, a Post Graduate Diploma in Tertiary Education and a BA degree with UNISA. Dr Machingambi is currently the Director in the Centre for Teaching, Learning and Programme Development at the Sol Plaatje University, Kimberley. He has published over 50 articles in national and international accredited journals. My research interest includes scholarship of teaching and learning, educational development, instructional and learning paradigms as well as pedagogical approaches in higher Education. Dr Machingambi has presented widely in national and international conferences as well as chairing sessions. He has served as an external examiner for MEd and PhD candidates with several universities in and outside South Africa.
