The engagement will focus on developments within the broader public finance management framework, including procurement governance, Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment, tender regulations, oversight mechanisms and the anticipated implications of the draft General Public Procurement Regulations 2026 under the Public Procurement Act 2024.

As South Africa continues to advance procurement reform, economic transformation and governance effectiveness, the colloquium will provide a structured platform to reflect on implementation gains, persistent challenges, governance risks and areas requiring policy refinement.
