Unisa SBL to award the Leadership in Practice Award to South African Reserve Bank Governor, Lesetja Kganyago

The University of South Africa (Unisa) Graduate School of Business Leadership (SBL) invites members of the media to its annual Leadership in Practice (LIP) Award ceremony taking place in Midrand, Gauteng. The South African Reserve Bank Governor, Mr Lesetja Kganyago a South African economist and central banker, will be receiving the prestigious Leadership in Practice Award for his outstanding and courageous leadership.

The LIP Award is the highest acknowledgement conferred by the Unisa SBL Alumni Association and considers the recipient’s leadership and business achievements over the past few years and the value these achievements have added to society and the South African economy at large. Previous awardees include HE President Cyril Ramaphosa, Dr Mamphela Ramphele, Rev. Frank Chikane, Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng, and Dr Judy Dlamini, to mention but a few.

At the ceremony Dr Tshepo Feela, founder and CEO of the Diversifex Group, will receive the Emerging Leader Award while Julia Petla, founder and managing director of Amedzo Trading and Projects, a 100% black-women-owned construction company, will receive the Women in Leadership Award.
