Call for Applications: Student Exchange Opportunity to Burgas Free University, Bulgaria

The University of South Africa (UNISA) is pleased to announce an exciting student exchange opportunity to Burgas Free University (BFU) in Burgas, Bulgaria, funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme.

Programme Details:

• Study one semester (30 credits) at Burgas Free University, Bulgaria
• Starting date: 9 March 2026
• Duration: 4 months
• Number of available positions: 3 students

Financial Support:

• Travel and visa costs covered by the Erasmus+ programme
• Monthly stipend of 800 EURO for the duration of the exchange

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must:

• Be current honours or taught master’s students from UNISA’s Graduate School of Business Leadership or the College of Economic and Management Sciences
• Be enrolled in a course of study leading to the acquisition of “Honours” or “Masters” degrees in business and/or administration
• Have completed Bachelor’s studies and be enrolled for Honours, or have completed Honours and be enrolled for Masters
• Be fluent in English
• Have an average of 65% in studies completed so far
• Have not interrupted their studies
• A valid Schengen or Bulgarian visa would be an advantage

Selection Criteria:

Applicants must:

• Present a good motivation for participating in the student mobility
• Demonstrate serious interest in the studied disciplines at both sending and receiving universities
• Be communicative and active in the learning process
