The College of Graduate Studies (CGS) recently launched the third cycle of the Online Accelerated Postgraduate Support Programme. The programme, which is designed for registered Unisa postgraduate students, continues to ensure that students have the necessary support to produce quality research work and make it to the finish line successfully, with the advantage of impacting the country, globe and immediate societies.

The programme is available to all registered postgraduate Unisa students. This opportunity empowers students to make meaningful contributions to the world through research and to bring forth solutions. With the wide range of highly accomplished facilitators and research specialists, the programme is highly recommended in the university as it equips and supports academic success. Postgraduate students are advised by CGS to take this programme as one of the most important courses needed for their postgraduate career. The programme offers research methodology, grant writing and academic writing among many other related topics.

Not only will the programme afford postgraduate students the opportunity to acquire academic and research skills, but it will also enable them to become competent candidates. This programme is an avenue to combat challenges faced by academic institutions and it will help to reduce high dropout rates.
