Prof Sebo Tladi

Sebo Tladi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mercantile Law, Faculty of Law at the University of Johannesburg. She holds various degrees in law including a Biuris (Vista University), LLB and LLM (UP) and a LLD awarded by the University of South Africa.

Prof Tladi is a specialist in the field of Cyberlaw. Her recent publications include an article titled ‘Electronic commerce protocol of the AfCFTA: Opportunities and challenges in realising regional integration in the continent’ in the African Journal of Rhetoric and a co-edited book entitled Women and Cyber Rights in Africa (2024, Juta).

She has also co-authored several book chapters including ‘A legal perspective on exposing women’s nudes ‘revenge porn’ to score political points’ in Social Media and Gender in Africa: Discourses on Power and Politics of Everyday Life (2024, Lexington Books) and ‘Consumer Protection and e-Commerce’ in the latest edition of the Cyberlaw @ SA: The Law of the Internet in South Africa textbook.
