Professor Pumela Msweli is the CEO and Executive Dean of the Graduate School of Business Leadership at the University of South Africa (UNISA). She holds a PhD and an MBA (with distinction) from the University of Exeter, UK, and an MPhil in Development Finance from Stellenbosch University. With extensive academic experience, she has taught at the University of the Witwatersrand and the University of KwaZulu-Natal and held visiting scholar roles at institutions in Canada, Germany, Mauritius, and Romania.
Her research spans global collaborations across Africa, Europe, and North America, and she has supervised 23 doctoral and over 40 master’s students. A Certified Integral Coach and ICF-Accredited Enneagram Practitioner, Prof. Msweli integrates leadership development into her academic work. Her leadership continues to shape business education and empower future leaders through a global, inclusive, and development-focused lens
