Dr Dhaya Naidoo is the Senior Director of Institutional Research and Planning, reporting directly to the university's executive management. His primary responsibilities encompass strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation, institutional research, quality assurance, business intelligence and data analytics, and statutory reporting.
He is pivotal in facilitating evidence-based decision-making at the highest levels of the UFS, advising management on strategy formulation and implementation and positioning the university globally. His work has consistently focused on leveraging technology and data to enhance institutional performance and student success. His fields of interest include digital transformation, internal innovation and institutional effectiveness.
Dr. Naidoo holds a PhD in Curriculum Studies from Stellenbosch University, with specialised research in organisational culture and external quality assurance. His extensive academic background includes advanced training from Stanford University's Design Thinking Bootcamp, reflecting his commitment to innovative approaches in higher education leadership.
