Research interests/expertise

My primary research interest is on security studies and International Relations generally. The African continent forms the epicenter of my research focus, seeing as it is that generating research output with a focus on the continent could assist in informing policy on peace, security and socioeconomic development in Africa, thereby contribute to the realization of a peaceful and prosperous continent.

Current projects

I am presently occupied with researching and writing journal articles and book chapters that focus on the security, political and economic issues and developments that affect the African continent. Moreover, I’m involved in community engagement activities and the PDF Seminar series initiatives of the TM-School.
