Dr. Elizabeth Mavhunga holds the position of full professor and is a distinguished researcher in Science Education at Wits University, South Africa. Her research endeavors are centered on enhancing teacher professional knowledge to facilitate both the understanding of science and its effective teaching for student comprehension.
Prof. Carla Morais
She has a degree in Chemistry, a Master in Multimedia Education, a Ph.D., and a Habilitation in Science Education and Communication from the Faculty of Science of the University of Porto (FCUP). She is an Assistant Professor with Habilitation and a member of the Science Education Unit at the same Faculty.
Prof. Sam Ramaila
Professor Sam Ramaila’s academic journey reflects a strong foundation in science education and a deep commitment to scholarly excellence. He earned his PhD from the University of Johannesburg, solidifying his expertise in science education research. Prior to this, he obtained an MSc from the University of the Witwatersrand, where he refined his scientific and analytical skills particularly in Physics.
