African Centre for Arts, Culture and Heritage Studies
ACACHS was launched in June 1999.African Centre for Arts, Culture and Heritage Studies, the initiative to establish this centre was born from the needs of the people of South Africa and from the legacies of our past. Our aim is to establish partnerships with strategic stakeholders in order to conserve and promote our common national heritage.
ACACHS subscribes to guidelines and priorities set by ACTAG, the White Paper on Arts, Culture and Heritage (1996, Dept of Arts, Culture, Science and Technology: DACST) and the National Constitution
