It is with great honour and sincere pleasure that I welcome you to the 5th International Symposium in Biomedical Engineering Innovation (ISBEI 2026).
Reaching this fifth edition is both a milestone and a moment of reflection. I recall vividly the inspiring discussions, the intellectual generosity, and the strong sense of global community that have characterised ISBEI since its inception. Each edition has reinforced the true spirit of this symposium — to connect across disciplines and borders, to share knowledge openly, and to collectively shape the future of biomedical engineering.
The conference will take place at Unisa Science Campus, Corner of Christiaan de Wet Road & Pioneer Avenue, Florida, 1709
