Presenter: Pieter Visagie, Partner, Adams & Adams
Pieter Visagie is a registered patent attorney and a partner at Adams & Adams since 2013, having been with the firm since 2007. He holds degrees in law and chemical engineering.
He has extensively drafted patent specifications and prosecuted patent applications both locally and abroad, in a wide range of process technologies. He also has extensive experience in performing intellectual property due diligence investigations for capital investments, both in respect of start-ups and established companies.
He has also developed into the field of the negotiation and conclusion of technology transfer and licensing transactions. He further assists a number of clients with their intellectual property portfolio management, sitting as an advisor on their intellectual property management committees.
