CGS Community Engagement indaba: 'Emancipating ourselves from mental enslavement - what Mutwa said...'

Event date:
16 November 2021
Time:
10:00:00 - 13:00:00

That Eurocentric knowledge is diametrically opposed to African indigenous knowledge is not a misnomer. Mutwa established that the total lack of understanding between Black and White, that is, between Indigenous and Eurocentric knowledge is due to the failure of one knowledge to understand what goes on in the mind of the indigenous knowledge holder. Mutwa charges that the sad part is misunderstanding is mostly on one side, the most powerful side, the Eurocentric side. This indaba will engage with what Mutwa said about preventing recolonisation. Click here for more information.
