Students engage with potential employers

The Midlands Region hosted a Careers Fair at Louis Botha Technical high school in Bloemfontein on Wednesday, 21 August 2019. The aim of the event was to provide students with an opportunity to be exposed to and interact with prospective employers including public and private sectors. The event also served as a platform to create awareness on various career opportunities that are available in the world of work.

Approximately 23 companies were present to share job opportunities available in their sectors, including various government department, legal entities, SETA’s, banking institutions as well as accounting firms. Students were excited about the initiative and appreciated the inspiring information they received form various sector representatives. Students expressed their gratitude during their interaction with prospective employers as the valued the information shared regarding their career paths.
