Midlands Region Online services offered during the national lockdown

Due to the impending national lockdown, the Midlands Region will only offer student support services online. Below are the services that will be available and the contact details that students can use to contact UNISA, Midlands Region

Student Administration Services will offer support with the following:

  • Application
  • Registration
  • Student assessment (examination & assignment)
  • Student funding

Human beings generally need social contact, which is going to be immensely restricted by the national lockdown. Restricted movement and social interaction could lead to feelings of isolation that may have negative psychological effects on people.If you are prone to psychological ill-health, please maintain an emotional diary and make use of tele-psychological services such as South African Depression and Anxiety Group (SADAG), a 24-hour helpline – 0800 21 22 23 or 011 234 4837

Technology and IT support will offer the following:

  • Support in accessing and utilising MyUnisa and MyLife (for online assignment submission, communicating with lecturers, old question papers, etc.)
