Thermodynamics II (Theory) - THD2601

Diploma Semester module NQF level: 6 Credits: 9
Module presented in English
Pre-requisite: PHY1501 Co-requisite: MCA1PRA
Purpose: To give a basic understanding of the laws, units, definitions and fundamentals of the behaviour of gases and vapours under variations of temperature and pressure. The first and second laws of thermodynamics enable analysis of vapour and gas cycles; they help us establish property relations of pure substances, ideal gases and their mixtures.
