| Purpose: To introduce you to quantitative and qualitative research methods and to help learn how to apply educational research findings in the real world. Enable to use educational research findings to make sound decisions compared to those who rely on ﾑgut feel and experienceﾒ and to acquaint knowledge and skills necessary to conduct research in your own context, which should help you reflect on your own practice, generate new strategies to solve problems, trying out the strategies with others and determining results. Students registering for this module are required to have regular access to a computer and the Internet in order to download or read essential study material from the myUnisa module site and the World Wide Web. This module will be presented online, and no study material will be posted for this module. Formative assessment must be completed online and summative assessment for this module comprises a non-venue based e-portfolio.
