Purpose: To assist students and business people to develop a better understanding of the fundamental decisions and strategies in implementing the marketing strategies as managers regarding the pricing of products and services for their organisations. This module will be useful to students studying towards management qualifications as they will gain knowledge and skills in managing the businesses and organisations therefore contribute towards profitability of the organisation. Students credited with this module are able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the role and nature of price in an organisation, discuss the factors influencing pricing, explain methods in determining a final price and setting the approximate price level.
