| Purpose: Students studying this module will focus on producing growth media for ornamental crop production in plant growth facilities by: evaluating the physical and chemical properties of different growth media components for creating optimal soilless growth media, compiling a plan for managing soiless growth medis, devising and implementing strategies for managing the nutrition of soilless growth media, identifying and evaluating alternatives to commonly used growth media components. |
