The word kgorong means an entrance or gateway and a meeting place for the community to discuss important matters.
This building therefore serves as an entrance to the Unisa Muckleneuk Campus as a point of welcome for visitors and as a functions venue. (source: Unisa Facebook)
Attendance at the symposium is free of charge. Registration is compulsory as the physical venue can accommodate only a limited number of participants.
