Unisa is working incredibly hard to meet the challenges arising from COVID-19 and to ensure that we are able to meet the ever-increasing demands on our systems. As a university, we have embarked on a number of processes to ensure that we are able to provide support to our students. Our online assignment submission system, for example, is now able to clear 3 000 assignments per minute.
In the words of our Principal and Vice-Chancellor, Prof Mandla Makhanya, this is "a demonstration of Unisa's unique capacity" as an Open and Distance e-Learning institution.
