My name is Macduff Mahiyani Khoza, based at Unisa Florida Engineering campus. I am appointed as an adjunct academic under the Department of Mechanical, Biomedical & Bioresources Engineering. I have graduated with Masters in Mechanical Engineering (MEng) at Tshwane University of Technology. I am currently working on my PhD that will be completed in two years from now. My research area is to improve the physical properties of the conventional fluids using different types of nanoparticles. I have published three articles to contribute to the study. My previous work experience was Public service with major duties of Birth, Marriage and Death registration. I also worked at the industry where I dealt with waste and raw water treatment under purification department. For engineering I was doing maintenance of pumps, pipelines, valves, slakers, conveyors gearboxes etc. With the experience that I have gained I will be able to contribute to the academic space. I also believe that when you understand the problem from the person whom you are serving and give proper guidance that will be the key to success.
