Short biography
Dr Emmanuel Atofarati is a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of South Africa, with expertise in nanofluids, jet impingement cooling and energy systems. He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pretoria, where his research focused on heat transfer enhancement using hybrid nanofluids in jet impingement cooling. He has authored multiple high-impact journal articles and book chapters on nanofluids, magnetothermal applications and renewable energy systems. Emmanuel has served as an assistant lecturer and external examiner at the University of Pretoria and University of Witwatersrand and has supervised several research projects. He is also a patent holder for the first indigenous mini thermal power plant in Nigeria. His research interests include thermal management solutions, machine learning applications in heat transfer, and sustainable energy systems.
