Our research deals with biomimetic studies. Metal ion mediated hydrolysis and condensation reactions of phosphate esters (ie. phosphorylation, dephosphorylation, pyrophosphorylation, depyrophosphorylation etc.) are being investigated in my research group. Ecotoxicological studies utilizing model compounds also form part of our research undertaking.
