Distinguished Unisa scholar, Prof James Chibueze, an internationally renowned astronomy expert, recently secured funding that enabled students in the College of Science, Engineering and Technology to gain exposure to cutting-edge radioastronomy and astrophysics developments at Kagoshima University in Japan. Estimable scholar bags august 'Science Oscar' for research impact
Receiving the prestigious TW-Kambule-NSTF: Emerging Researcher Award at the 2022/2023 NSTF-South32 Awards for her contributions in electrochemistry, Prof Usisipho Feleni says the award indicates that her projects are aligned with the African Union’s Agenda 2063, Unisa’s 2030 Strategic Goals, as well as the United Nations’ 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
