2019 CSET ODL Conference - “Sharing best practice”

Welcome to the fifth biennial Open Distance Learning conference for Science, Engineering and Technology subjects, hosted by the CSET College at UNISA, which will be held at Avianto, in Muldersdrift  on 21st and 22nd November 2019.

The purpose of the conference is to contribute to the knowledge on open, distance and blended learning of Science, Engineering, and Technology disciplines.

This year, 2019, has seen renewed focus at the college on excellent teaching, scholarly teaching and scholarship of teaching and learning. The college has extensive experience in innovative distance education practice, and this year’s conference aims in particular to provide an opportunity to share innovative teaching practice between disciplines.

We invite practitioners and researchers in the fields of ODL, e-learning and blended learning in the domain of Science, Engineering or Technology to attend and present at the conference, to share and discuss research, ideas and findings, and to form collaborations.

Presentations

Research paper presentations of teaching practice as well as ODL research are welcome. Proposals for presentations should be submitted as extended abstracts (1000 words). Accepted abstracts will be published in the conference programme.
