Solly was a member of South African Police Force for sixteen years where he gained valuable policing experience while working at community service centre, detective branch, Pta-North Local Criminal Centre as Fingerprint Expert, Photographer and Firearm Registration Centre. He was recognized as best candidate for photography and Video course whilst working at LCRC. His last posting was at SAPS National Head Office’s Career Management Division responsible for compiling Generic Competency Profiles and Performance Assessment Instruments for various jobs in the South African Police Force. Solly completed a course in Fingerprints, Photography and Video and also Human Resource Assessment.
