Lesiba is currently a Senior lecturer in the Department of Police Practice. Before joining this department he served in the SAPS for twelve years where he worked as a criminal investigator at Bramley and thereafter moved to Johannesburg Central Fraud Unit in 2004 until 2010. He also served in the military at Engineer Formation.
