Asserting emancipatory Africa(n)-centred psychologies in the service of humanising societies
Objectives
- Undertake Africa(n)-centred research on psychosocial phenomena, intervention, community practices, and teaching
- Train post-graduate students and support teaching faculty
- Establish strategic partnerships to grow research and capacities
- Produce knowledge resources and services for multiple publics

TAP links with the existing hubs of social justice-oriented research and scholarship in the country and on the continent to undertake Africa(n)-centred research on psychosocial phenomena, intervention, community practices, and teaching through the following thematic areas:
- African psychology in praxis
- Africa in psychological theory
- Building capacities in African psychology
