  • Undertake Africa(n)-centred research on psychosocial phenomena, intervention, community practices, and teaching
  • Train post-graduate students and support teaching faculty
  • Establish strategic partnerships to grow research and capacities
  • Produce knowledge resources and services for multiple publics

TAP links with the existing hubs of social justice-oriented research and scholarship in the country and on the continent to undertake Africa(n)-centred research on psychosocial phenomena, intervention, community practices, and teaching through the following thematic areas:

  • African psychology in praxis
  • Africa in psychological theory
  • Building capacities in African psychology
