Research is the cornerstone of the ISCC, and we take pride in being a research-intensive Institute. Thus, we constantly reflect and advance research to ensure that we contribute toward the university’s vision of “towards the African university shaping futures in the service of humanity”. Our research, which has spanned over two decades, was established to focus on innovative and sustainable research areas and activities. Our research capacity is enhanced by integrating perspectives across disciplines and including established researchers, research mentors, and early-career researchers.
The ISCC finds expression for its research through several research programmes, some of which are highlighted herein.
