Tom Tom, PhD is a Research Associate with the DSI/NRF SARChI Chair in Social Policy, College of Graduate Studies at the University of South Africa; and a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Development Studies, Faculty of Applied Social Sciences at the Zimbabwe Open University. He is a member of the South African Sociological Association (SASA), the Young African Researchers in Agriculture (YARA) network, and the Development Studies Association (DSA) – United Kingdom. He focuses on social policy, agrarian studies and rural development in the Global South.
