Gemma Wright is the Executive Director of Southern African Social Policy Research Insights, a UK not-for-profit, and a Director of Southern African Social Policy Research Institute, a South African not-for-profit. She is a Professor Extraordinarius at the College of Graduate Studies at the University of South Africa, and a Research Affiliate at the Centre for Microsimulation and Policy Analysis at the University of Essex. Her interests include poverty, child poverty, social security policy and tax-benefit microsimulation.
